Myleene Klass is a classically-trained pianist and harpist, and graduated from the Royal Academy of Music. She first came to the publics’ attention when she became a member of the British manufactured pop group Hear’Say who achieved four Top 10 singles, two of which were number 1.
After HearSay disbanded, Myleene recorded a classical music album, 'Moving On', in 2004, followed by ‘Myleene’s Music for Romance’ in 2007.
Aside her musical accomplishments, Myleene has built a successful TV presenting career Starting with Channel 4's 'Popworld', and regular slots on ITV1's Saturday morning show 'CD:UK', she has quickly become a favourite choice for shows such as ‘The Friday Night Project’, ‘Saturday Night Divas’, the BBC’s ‘Last Choir Standing’ and most recently, Channel 4’s Miss Naked Beauty’. She has been confirmed as the new presenter of ’10 Years Younger’ which will be seen in 2009. Myleene’s also a popular addition to many panel shows such as ‘The Wright Stuff’, ‘Celebrity Ding Dong’ and ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’.
February 2006 also saw Myleene start presenting her own radio show on Classic FM, the classical music station which the singer and classical musician says she has listened to since its launch. Darren Henley, station manager at Classic FM, said: ‘Myleene's a sparkling new talent for Classic FM. As soon as I heard her behind the microphone, I knew she'd be a perfect fit for Sunday mornings."
Aside from her professional commitments, Myleene and partner Graham Quinn welcomed baby Ava Bailey in August 2007. Myleene produced a pregnancy diary ‘My Bump and Me’ to help other first time mums through the experience, published in February 2008. The paperback version is due for release in March 2009.
