Tony Ward is a Californian born model, actor, artist, photographer, designer, painter, writer, producer and director.
He began his modelling career in 1981 and achieved international fame after being shot by the late Herb Ritts for Calvin Klein Underwear . Ward has since worked with a host of prolific photographers including Bruce Weber, Karl Lagerfeld, David Lachapelle, Steven Klein, Steven Meisel, Terry Richardson and Ellen Von Unwerth. He has also fronted an endless list of prestigious campaigns for brands such as Chanel, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Cavalli, J.Lindenberg, Guess, Levi’s, Diesel, Wrangler and H&M. He has also appeared in commercial advertising for Volvo, Belvedere Vodka, Nina Ricci fragrance and Bacardi. Ward’s career as an actor has also seen him star in a number of art house films including “I,B. Dream Capture”, “Longest Dream”, “LA Zombie”, “Story of Jen” and “Hustler White”and the more mainstream "All about the Benjamins”. He is currently working on a clothing line collaboration with a British based company. Ward is celebrating 30 years of standing in front of the camera this year and is working more than ever.
Tony Ward currently resides in London with his wife and son and has a total of 33 tattoos, the 34th to appear soon with his new baby son's name Aurelius Balthazar Ward.
