Kristin Knox is the blogging force and personality behind the prominent style blog “The Clothes Whisperer” that gets over 5.000 hits per day.
Graduating from the prestigious Wellesley, Massachusetts, Knox attended Corpus Christi College at Oxford University where she read Classical Literature.
An internship at the Financial Times under fashion editor Vanessa Friedman followed, giving Knox a taste of the industry. It was during this period as Friedman’s assistant, that Knox was first approached by the Glam Media group who convinced her to start up a blog to record her experiences within the fashion industry. “The Clothes Whisperer” was born from this initial concept, and her witty journalistic style and reviews of the international collections soon gained a cult following within the industry.
Knox has consulted for a list of prestigious brands including, Dolce & Gabbana, Loewe, Ralph Lauren, Mulberry, MCM, Jaeger, Tommy Hilfiger, D&G, UGG Australia and Tory Burch to name a few. She has also been profiled in Elle, InStyle, Nylon, Vogue Nippon and the New York Times.
An established author Knox’s first book Alexander McQueen; Genius of a Generation sold out six times. Her new book Culture to Catwalk was launched at Liberty in September 2011.
